Our philosophy at Sonshine Street is to provide an environment where children can reach their optimum potential to learn and grow in a safe and caring place. We realize this is an essential time for developing social skills that will benefit a child for life, and we arrange our programme to best enable these skills to develop.

Our experienced staff help each individual child, regardless of ability, to develop friendships and caring attitudes toward their peers. One of our main goals is to foster a good self-esteem in each child and we help them to develop confidence to speak in front of the whole group regularly.

Our drama and literature emphasis gives many fun opportunities for the children to act out stories. This helps with speech, language and a love of literature and also helps us all learn to be respectful of others regardless of their abilities.
